About Us

Children and the Earth, Inc. was organized and incorporated in early 1999, at the request of The Rockwood Charitable Support Foundation. Annual funding in part comes from The Rockwood Charitable Support Foundation and The Ross Charitable Support foundation. Children and the Earth, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) tax exempt, nonprofit organization.

The founder and creator of Children and the Earth, Inc. is Lana R. Hall. Lana has always been a charitable person and when she retired in 1997 she decided to follow her dream of helping underpriveleged children. She created Children and the Earth to help disadvantaged children within her community and beyond. Lana has two children of her own, which are involved in the charity. Her daughter Amber Brosig is the managing trustee and manages the charity year round.

Our mission is to assist children faced with life threatening, sometimes terminal illness. Anything from cancer, special needs, to rare disease.

Children and The Earth has come together to create special opportunities for these children and their families to make memories to last a lifetime. We also assist in easing the burden of medical expenses while these children are faced with hard battles. We’ve done it all from checking every item off terminally ill children’s bucket lists to remodeling a home to make it more wheel chair accessible. There is nothing we won’t try to come together to accomplish for these children and their families.

Children and The Earth is our heart and soul and we give it our best to be there every step of the way and give back to our community in any way we can. We believe nobody should fight alone and we will never give up!
