About Us

Our Story

Children and the Earth, Inc. was founded by Lana R. Hall, a lifelong advocate for giving back. After retiring in 1997, she followed her dream of helping underprivileged children by creating this organization. Her passion for making a difference has shaped everything we do. Today, her daughter, Amber Brosig, serves as the managing trustee, running the charity year-round with the same dedication and love.

Our Mission

We are committed to assisting children facing life-threatening or terminal illnesses, from cancer and rare diseases to special needs. Our goal is to create unforgettable experiences and ease the burden of medical expenses for these children and their families.
From granting bucket list wishes to remodeling homes for wheelchair accessibility, there is nothing we won’t strive to accomplish. We believe that no child or family should fight alone, and we will always stand beside them.

Why We Do It

Children and the Earth is more than a charity; it’s our heart and soul. We are a 100% volunteer-run organization, with no paid staff. Every dollar donated goes directly to the children and their families.

With the love and support of our community, we continue to make an impact, one child at a time. Join us in making a difference.

Children and the Earth, Inc. was organized and incorporated in early 1999, at the request of The Rockwood Charitable Support Foundation. Annual funding in part comes from The Rockwood Charitable Support Foundation and The Ross Charitable Support foundation. Children and the Earth, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) tax exempt, nonprofit organization.
